The production of nickel cathodes at the Sandouville nickel refinery near Le Havre, France’s second largest industrial port, will cease as announced on 21 August 2024 with the remaining inventory processed by the end of Q1 2025. A pre-feasibility study (PFS) to assess the potential conversion of the Sandouville plant to produce pCAM (the GalliCam project) is underway.
