Prohibited gifts

To ensure transparency and integrity, we have included in our Code of Ethics a list of prohibited gifts that applies to all our employees, directors, officers, and their close family members. We kindly request your cooperation in not offering or providing prohibited gifts to any of our employees, directors, officers, and their close family members. The following are examples of prohibited gifts:

• Gifts of cash or cash equivalents in any amount
• Paid commercial transportation or lodging without the written pre-approval of a Sibanye-Stillwater C-Suite member
• Free use of any vehicle, appliance, or other property
• Borrowing of money from providers (other than from financial institutions on competitive terms) or having a supplier act as guarantor for any loan, mortgage, or lien
• Entertainment that substantially exceeds either prudent business standards or normal reciprocal business entertainment by that Sibanye-Stillwater will provide
• Gift (including entertainment) over the following nominal values without written pre-approval:
  • R1 000 (Southern Africa)
  • US$ 100 (Americas)
  • € 100 (Europe)
  • AU$ 100 (Australia)
• Expenses paid on behalf of an employee or their close family member
