Zinc

Zinc is extensively used in the automotive and construction sectors, especially for galvanizing. The metal’s ability to prevent corrosion significantly extends the durability of infrastructure and vehicles, making it a preferred choice for environmental protection

It’s capacity for alloying with other metals to produce materials with a variety of desirable properties makes zinc indispensable in a myriad of applications, from automotive components to consumer electronics. Zinc is used in batteries and also plays a crucial role in human health as an essential trace element.

Zinc is typically found in polymetallic ore bodies, often with lead and silver. The largest zinc producing countries are China, Peru, Australia and India.
