Ralph Lombard joined Sibanye-Stillwater on 29 April 2021 as Senior Vice President Projects: Group Technical. With over three decades of experience, he has led projects from initial concept to implementation, including scope definition and operational handover. Ralph has overseen extensive capital portfolios for mining and processing projects, with an emphasis on prioritisation, optimisation, and Board-level investment assurance. He has developed comprehensive governance and project management frameworks and successfully managed multidisciplinary teams at complex sites. After graduating in 1995, Ralph began his career at Impala Platinum and subsequently held roles at Grinaker Duraset, Anglo American Platinum, and Anglo American Corporation before advancing to Sibanye-Stillwater. Throughout his tenure, he transitioned from mining operations management, product development, mine planning to mineral resource management and ultimately project leadership.
