William Taylor is the Executive Vice President: Integrated mine extraction strategy since March 2026 transitioning from the role of  Executive Vice President: Technical Services Southern Africa (SA) operations since 1 November 2022.  Having joined Sibanye-Stillwater in 2017, William has experience in operational leadership and group technical positions. During his term as SVP: Group Health and Safety, from May 2021 to October 2022, William championed several critical developments that saw vast improvements in the Group’s safety performance.  With a 35-year career in mining, William has held various positions at Blyvoor, DRD, ERPM, Harmony and served as Executive Safety Advisor and Chief Consulting Mining Engineer at Anglo Platinum. He also served as a Board member of Automatic Chrome for nearly two years.
